Frequently Asked Questions
What if my child is also on another flag football league?
We welcome anyone to join! If your child will be playing on another flag football league at the same time our season is running, we will ensure that everyone has the opportunity to play. Therefore, we will work diligently to ensure that our games do not overlap with any other leagues. We are aiming for games on Saturdays for our athletes to allow a smooth flow between both leagues! When/where will games and practices be held?
The games will be held at Santa Barbara High School on Saturdays. Times are TBD. Fall season will begin September and run through November (right before Thanksgiving). Game days will be held on Saturdays, with one Friday being our Halloween bash on October 30th. Head to our Home page to review our tentative schedule.
Practices will be decided by the coach once the team has been placed with one.
What age groups do you serve?
We welcome athletes from ages 8 to 14. Our divisions are organized by age (6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U) to ensure fair play and optimal skill development for every child.
Will there be a coed division?
No. There will be no coed division. Boys and girls will be on separate teams.
What equipment is needed?
Safety is our priority. We provide the flags and official academy jerseys. Players will need their own cleats (non-metal), a water bottle, and a mouthguard (mandatory for all sessions).
What is your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds. Please review our Refund Policy page for details.
Can my kids team stay together?
Yes! During registration, you can enter the coach’s name and team details to keep a group together. If you don't have a coach but want your child to play with specific friends, please contact us with their names and ages. We will do our best to accommodate all requests!
Is experience required?
Not at all! We cater to all skill levels, from absolute beginners to experienced players. Our coaches focus on teaching the fundamentals in a fun, supportive environment. Their certifications will allow for elite-level training.
Is your league insured?
Yes. Our league is fully insured through Players Health, ensuring a safe, protected, and worry-free environment for all of our youth athletes, coaches, and volunteers.
