Founded by 2 Santa Barbara locals, the Santa Barbara Flag Football Academy (SBFFA) provides top-tier youth flag football programs built on safety, sportsmanship, and technical skill mastery. As an official USA Football partner, our certified coaches deliver professional, high-energy training designed to foster athletic growth, confidence, and a lifelong love for the game—from foundational skills to competitive tournament play.

FIRST GAME DAY OCT 10
Our first game will kickoff on October 10th at Santa Barbara High School! The schedule is listed above, and game times are TBD. Once schedules are posted, we would like everyone to come out, support our athletes, and cheer them on—they’ve been working very hard!
Field Policy Reminder: Only athletes, coaches, and referees are allowed on the field. Parents, families, and spectators must remain in the stands so our athletes can focus on their game without interruptions.

Championship Night & Halloween Bash
Everyone is welcome to join us for Championship Night & Halloween Bash! We would love for everyone to come out and see who will be crowned champion of our 2026 Fall season. We will have vendors coming out to help us celebrate Halloween, so dress up in your Halloween best and bring your kids, family, and friends to enjoy the night with us! 🎃
TOURNAMENT
SBFFA Hosting Tournament on 11/14
We are excited to host a tournament on November 14th! Everyone is welcome to come out and watch our SBFFA athletes compete against teams from other cities—it’s a great opportunity to expose our athletes to new competition and let them test their skills on the field.

USA Football Partnership
We are proud to announce that the Santa Barbara Flag Football Academy is officially enrolled with USA Football. This partnership ensures that all SBFFA coaches and referees are USA Football certified, bringing elite-level expertise and safety standards to our league.
Our curriculum is designed to develop athletes for high school, collegiate, and even national-level competition. Through this enrollment, our players gain exclusive access to USA Football Talent ID camps—offering unique opportunities to be scouted for premier invitation-only events like Accelerator, Select Bowl, and Stars & States.
